Hybrid embryo plan 'set for go-ahead'

Dear Friends

Below is an article I read this morning on AOL news. Jesus said that the last days would be like the day of Noah. During the time of Noah the sons of God (fallen angels) had hybrid children with the daughters of men creating a race known as the Nephilim. I believe something similar is happening here.

Hybrid embryo plan 'set for go-ahead'

The fertility regulator is expected to give British scientists the go-ahead for the creation of human-animal embryos for research.
The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) will announce its decision on the controversial plan, which scientists say will pave the way for therapies for diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
A consultation paper published by the HFEA showed the public was mostly "at ease" with the proposals once they were explained to them.
A positive decision from the HFEA would see applications from scientists at King's College London and Newcastle University then appraised by a committee in November.
Researchers want to create hybrid embryos by merging human cells with animal eggs.
In May, the Human Tissue and Embryos Bill allowed for the creation of "cytoplasmic" hybrid embryos that are 99.9% human and 0.1% animal.
The research involves transferring nuclei containing DNA from human cells, such as skin cells, to animal eggs that have had almost all their genetic information removed.
The resulting embryos are mostly human, with a small animal component.
Stem cells, which have the potential to become different kinds of tissue, are then grown in the laboratory.
At present, scientists have to rely on human eggs left over from fertility treatment, but they are in short supply and are not always good quality.
